- 27 Dec 1827, Joseph Williams, batchelor of married Ellen Bell, spinster. Both of Neston parish, and neither could sign their names.
  
  In 1841, Joseph and Henen (both 40) were at Ness, Neston with Thomas, Joseph and John (11, 6 & 5). There was also Ann Bell (15), assumed sister of Ellen and her son George 7 mo.
