Isabel was born and baptised in 1830 at Haslingden, the daighter of Henry Barnes of Slats. Her mother was probably Anne (as an earlier Isabel was baptised in 1725).
In 1752, Isabel had an illegitimate child, Henry, named after her father. James Mather was the father.
May 1754, Isobel Barnes, Spinster died at Haslingden.
Another Isobel Barns of Haslingden married John Kay 1 Aug 1754 at St James, Haslingden, so perhaps this Isobel (with a son Henry) survived. However, there was consent of parents to this other isobel was a minor.
