George Astin

George was born in 1813. He died before 1881.

General Notes
- George was the son of William Austin, an engineer.
  
  In 1837, George married Hannah Booth (born Heywood) at Rochdale, and after their marriage they lived at Heywood for 7 years before movng to Tyldesley.
  
  In 1851 the George and Hannah "Austin" (37 & 34) were at Tyldesley with Sarah Boomlow (30, wid, lodger), Joseph Austin (26, brother), Thomas (10), John (9), Jamews (8), Maria (3).
  
  Hannah died at Tyldesley in 1853. Her death was registered locally at Leigh.
  
  In 1854, the follow year of his wifes death, George married Mary Taylor, the daugher of John Walmsley.

Occupation Details
- From 1840 to after 1844 George's occupation was Spinner in Heywood.
