Rachil' Aisenstein

Rachil''s father was Aisik Aisenstein and her mother was Basya Aisenstein. She was the oldest of two children. She had a brother named Moisei (Mikhail). She died in year 1941.

General Notes
- My great-great grandmother Rachil' was a blonde, blue-eyed woman with an angelic nature, very able and hardworking.
  
  Since 1920's onwards Rachil' lived with the family of her daughter, Rozalia.
  
  When the family lived in Dnepropetrovsk, Rachil' would rise at dawn and head to the market, or rather towards the merchants heading there, and she would "turn them" towards her house. It was cheaper so, and she had her "own" merchants. Thus, there was a milkmaid from the Mandrykovka village, who for 15 years took milk, butter, etc. to the house. The milkmaid and her family became almost like family.
  And when in August of 1941 my great-grandparents Evsei and Roza Rahman evacuated to ____ they had to leave Rachil' with the milkmaid's family. With her they left all their valuables (wedding gifts, silver tableware, Evsei's presents to Roza) and pleaded to take care of her. But, according to Moisei, Rachil' was handed over to the Nazis as soon as they appeared. Her body was buried in a paddock.

David and Rachil' were married (further details are not known). They had two daughters named Rozalia (Roza) and Anna.

Rozalia (Roza) was born on December 9th, 1886. She died, at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 7 days, on September 16th, 1972 from cancer.
