שאול's father is קיש. His paternal grandfather is אביאל. He is an only child.
General Notes
Thr tribe of Benjamin was nearly wiped out by the other tribes (Judges, chapters 19, 20. & 21). However, they survived, and the first king of I srael, Saul, was a Benjamite from Gibeah. When the land was divided into two kingdoms after the death of Solomo
שאול and אחינועם are married (further details are not known).
They have four sons and two daughters, named איש-בושת, יונתן, ישוי, מיכל, מלכישוע and מרב.
