רעו was born in 1787. רעו's father was פלג and his mother was Lomna bint Sina'ar. His paternal grandfather was עבר; his maternal grandfather was Sina'ar. He was the oldest of four children. He had two brothers and a sister, named Sons ben, Kaber ben and Daughters bint. He died, at the age of 239, in 2026.
