  • JOEL Jehovah is his God. 3. One of David's famous warriors (1  Chronicles 11:38). JOEL 7. One of David's valiant men  -- 1  Chronicles 11:38 (Called "IGAL,    son of Nathan"  -- 2 Samuel 23:36)  JOEL (to whom Jehovah is God ). 7. The brother of Nathan of Zobah, (1  Chronicles 11:38) and one of     Davi d's guard. May be a brother,  rather than a son, of Nathan. That Nathan is Nathan  t he Prophet is  assumed, based on chronology.
