Abdon ben Jeiel

Abdon ben's father is Jeiel of Benjamin ben Jacob and his mother is Maacah. His paternal grandfather is Descendants of Benjamin ben Jacob. He is the oldest of nine children. He has eight brothers named Ahio ben, Baal ben, Gedor ben, Gibeon ben, Kish ben, Nadab ben, Zecher ben and Zur ben.

- The son of Jeiel and his wife Maacah (1 Chronicles 8:30). Jeiel is desc ribed asthe "father of Gibeon," perhaps the founder of the Israelirish c ommunity there. This Abdon is described as brother to Ner, the grandfath er of King Saul.
