Pepin III's father is Charles of Pepin II and his mother is Rotrude daughter Leutwinus.  His paternal grandparents are Pepin II Asegisel and Alpaide; his maternal grandparents are  Leutwinus of Geurin and  daughter of Chrodobertus II.  He is the youngest of five children.  He has two brothers and two sisters, named Bernard of, Carloman of, Aude daughter and Landree daughter.
