Jewetts of America - Gunilda Hayes

A Record of Edward Jewett, of Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, and of his two emigrant sons, Deacon Maximilian and Joseph Jewett, Settlers of Rowley, Massachusetts, in 1639 also of Abraham and John Jewett, Early Settlers of Rowley, and of the Jewetts who have settled in the United States since the year 1800.
3401 GUNILDA HAYES (Lucretia1xx9, Joseph780, Nathan2xx, Joseph109, Joseph22, Joseph 4, Edward1), was born in Marcellus, N. Y., July 4, 1799. She married in St. Charles, Mo., July 4, 1821, Daniel Howland, who was born in Bristol, R. I., Oct. 21, 1794, son of Daniel and Rebecca (Waldron) Howland of Bristol. He was a farmer and they resided in Brooklyn, Mich., where he died July 12, 1874. She died there Feb. 2, 1876.

5921 Lucretia Jewett, born April 6, 1822; married James Young.*
5922 Ellen Augusta, born July 6, 1828; married April 4, 1850, Lambert S. Southworth, and died March 7, 1898, leaving one daughter, Mary Elizabeth, born May 1, 1857.
5923 Guy Fortunatus, born March 20, 1830; married Aug. 30, 1870, Ruth Van Epps, who was born June 26, 1843. They reside in Brooklyn, Mich., and have one daughter, Isabel, born Nov. 24, 1875.
5924 Elizabeth Adelaide, born Jan. 6, 1832, resides in Brooklyn, Mich., unm.
5925 George Whitfield, born Nov. 15, 1833; married Oct. 6, 1874, V. Mary Francis, of Bristol, England. He is in the U. S. Printing Office, Washington, D. C.
5926 Emily Hayes, born March 20, 1836; married May 4, 1864, Henry Charles Clark, who was born May 1, 1833. Two sons, Robert Howland, born Oct. 1, 1866, and Henry Charles, born Sept. 11, 1868.
5927 Edward Payson, born Feb. 25, 1838; died Feb. 22, 1853.
5928 Gunilda Canfield, born July 16, 1841; died in infancy.
