Jewetts of America - Harold Hayes

A Record of Edward Jewett, of Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, and of his two emigrant sons, Deacon Maximilian and Joseph Jewett, Settlers of Rowley, Massachusetts, in 1639 also of Abraham and John Jewett, Early Settlers of Rowley, and of the Jewetts who have settled in the United States since the year 1800.
3400 HAROLD HAYES (Lucretia1xx9, Joseph780, Nathan2xx, Joseph109, Joseph22, Joseph 4, Edward1), was born in Granby, Conn., Nov. 29, 1796. He married in Bristol, N. Y., Feb. 28, 1822, Maria Simmons, daughter of Richmond and Eleanor (Sears) Simmons of Dighton, Mass. She was born in Bristol Nov. 10, 1802. Mr. Hayes was a printer, and a farmer, and died in Clinton, Ind., May 4, 1825. His widow married, in 1829, Francis Mason of Bristol, and had two sons and three daughters by him. She died in Bristol, Oct. 9, 1874.
