Mathias Thijs 
Mathias was born on September 12th, 1756 in Spurk Bilzen. He died at the age of 66 on January 20th, 1823 in Genk.
‌Mathias and Christina were married in a religious ceremony on July 3rd, 1785 in Genk. They had two sons and three daughters, named Joannes, Petrus, Elisabeth, Maria and Anna.
