Minnie E. was born in 1892.  Minnie E.'s father was Thomas R. Robinson and her mother was Mahala Frances Holland.  Her maternal grandparents were Green V. Holland and Elizabeth Snowden Azbill.  She was the sixth of eight children.  She had a brother and six sisters, named Green V., Nancy Alice, Laura Etta, Lucia L., Elizabeth, Clara and Louellen C..
