June was born on February 7th, 1881 in Jinks, Estill, KY, USA.  June's father was Walter Richardson and her mother was Lucy L. Bicknell.  Her paternal grandparents were William Richardson and Martha Garrett; her maternal grandparents were Hiram Ali Bicknell and Mornen Kelley.  She was the fourth of twelve children.  She had two brothers and nine sisters, named Hiram, Jerman, Bessie, Daisy, Addie, Unie, Hattie Bee, Flossie, Mournen, Florence and Dorothy.  She died at the age of 6 in 1887 in Jinks, Estill, KY, USA.
