George was born in 1918.  George's father was Ernest Jackson and his mother was Emma Bertha Azbill.  His paternal grandparents were John Zacariah Jackson and Martha Martin; his maternal grandparents were Charles Marcelles Azbill and Malissa Catherine Bicknell.  He was the third of ten children.  He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles William, John Zacariah, Donald Wayne, Elbridge Clyde, Ernest Earl, Elnora Opal, Doronda, Marietta Imogene and Esta Pearl.  He died in 1918.
