Miles T. was born in 1847.  Miles T.'s father was William N. Hooper and his mother was Elizabeth Asbell.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Asbell and Sarah Sally Hulen.  He was the second of eleven children.  He had five brothers and five sisters, named John Riley, William H., Noah Frank, Milton C., Allan G., Sarah Ellen, Mary Alice, Clara A., Ivy G. and Olivia M..  He died at the age of 85 in 1932.
