Katherine Marie was born in 1963.  Katherine Marie's father is Winfred Leroy Gentry and her mother is Ruth Catherine Deroo.  Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Macillus Gentry and Ruth Evelyn DeWolf.  She is the fourth of five children.  She has four brothers named Michael Patrick, Eugene Paul, Kenneth James and Steven Joseph.
