Isabell P. was born in 1838.  Isabell P.'s father was Ambrose Asbell and her mother was Mary Cawood.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Asbell and Sarah Sally Hulen.  She was the second of four children.  She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas E. and Sarah Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 78 in 1916.
