         John Hoskins was born at England. He married Ann Filer circa 1620 at England. John Hoskins left a will on 1 May 1648. He died on 3 May 1648 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.
    
    Came to Dorchester in the Mary and John, 1630; was made freeman 1631; appears to have been past the middle age of life on his arrival, and was denominated "Goodman"; rem. to Windsor prob. with the first party; is there called John H., Sen; lds. gr. 1640; was a delegate to Conn. Gen. Ct., 1637.
