Willemken was born on September 26th, 1813 in Hengelo.1  Willemken's father was Jan Bosman and her mother was Hendrica (Hendrika) de Gier.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Bosman and Vrouw / Moeder; her maternal grandparents were Garrit de Gier and Berentjen Antink. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Gerrit, Jan, Bernardus Hendrikus, Berentjen and Hendrina.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 69 on June 19th, 1883 in Hengelo.2
