Ngô Thị Thông

Taken in 2007 in Hinh Thờ nhà Gốc, Vĩnh Hòa.

Thông was born in 1892. She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 75 on August 12th, 1967 in Bến Vinh. The funeral took place on August 12th, 1892. Her burial was in Nề mộ bên rẩy ,cùng chổ với ông bà cố.

General Notes
- Wife of "Ong Hoi Dong", she was a class women. She gave birth 16 times. She weared very long finger nails, rided a bicycle or be horse drawned carriage to play cards with friends daily. After the dead of her husband, the family wealth kept running down hill. In the end, she lived in a humble house in Bến Vinh, sold tabaccos at the market, stocked and sold char coal and fire woods. She died in poverty.
