Emily was born in 1872.  Emily's father was George  Stuck and her mother was Emily Stuck (nee Cowell).  Her paternal grandparents were George Stuck and Jane Stuck (nee: Spurling).  She was the third of four children.  She had two brothers and a sister, named Alfred, Leonard  and Harriet.  She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Leonard, Alfred, William , Harriett and Emily.
