B. age 44 with families. These are probably Katherine's brothers.
Census of 1900, Iowa, Hancock, Garner, ED #120, p 37/37 has as Kate, age 20, b. Aug 1879 in Iowa, both parents born Germany, reads and writes.
Census of 1920, Iowa, Hancock, Concord, #144, p 37/39 has age 40, b. Iowa, parents b. Germany, living next door to the Peter ENGSTLER family.
From Gail C. LINAHON, Garner, Hancock, IA has parents Jacob ENGSTLER and Katherine STAUDT.
Her sister married Leonard W. TOBIN, Michael and Katherine's nephew.
