    Arrived in Australia on the Eden, 24-6-1838 along with John Turner and his brothers.
    
    Other children were Elizabeth b. 1843, Hindmarsh, Ken about 1847, Ellen about 1853. Her father was Thomas Atkins. Elizabeth married John Phillis in 1864
    Died at sea on ALDINGA on voyage from  Melbourne to Port Adelaide.
    Death Cert.
    She died 1st November 1865. Name:  Jane Reynolds.  Sex: Female.
    Age:  44 years.  Calling:  Wife of Thomas Reynolds, farmer.  Usual Residence:  Melbourne. Cause Of Death:  Committed suicide by jumping from the deck of the "Aldinga" while on passage from Melbourne to Port Adelaide.  Where: At sea.
    I, Edward Algin of Port Adelaide in the district of Adelaide do certify that the above particulars are correct and true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
    Registered in Adelaide on the 4th day of November 1865.
    
    SS Aldinga, 291 tons, built 1860 Greenock, Scotland.
