Lindolfo and Elvira were married in a religious & civil ceremony. They had five sons and three daughters, named Onofre, Sebastiao, Celio, Moacir, Mario, Ermelinda, Irene and Isaura.

He died as a war casualty, The Ship was sank, on July 4th, 1945 in On board of the Brazilian Cruiser Ship named "Bahia". His body was never found.1
