    Good Man Gone.
    Mr. Frank Hatcher one of Harlem's Most Prominent Citizens is Laid at Rest.
    Harlem, Ga., Nov. 13. - For six weeks or more Mr. Frank S. Hatcher has been quite sick and yesterday morning at 12:38 he died.
    He had the best medical attention and the care of a trained nurse, admiring friends and loving relatives. All that science and love knew was administered, but death was sure and come to him.
    Mr. Hatcher was a prominent, successful farmer, manufacturer, and merchant. He was only 48 years old and the first of eight brothers to die. His surviving brothers are: Hatcher Bros, Augusta, Ga.; Captains C. F. Hatcher and L. H. Hatcher of the Georgia railroad; W. E. Hatcher, merchant, and Messrs. Ed and Lum Hatcher, planters, of Columbia county.
    This is one of the most remarkable families in this section of Georgia. Their father having died in 1861, leaving these eight boys young and uneducated, yet by the exertion of a noble, loving and highly intelligent mother, who was Miss Lazenby, they were fitted for life in a social and business way and today they all are an honor to their noble father.
    The funeral services of Mr. Hatcher were held today from the Methodist Episcopal church and were conducted by Revs. Elleggton, Erwin, Atkinson and Dr. Robins. The latter delivered a beautiful tribute to the deceased. His remains were laid to rest surrounded by a great crowd of friends and under an offering of beautiful roses and winter flowers.
    The music was conducted by Mrs. Jno. Williamson and was sweet and very appropriate.
