Robert Alexander was born on July 2nd, 1906 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Robert Alexander's father was Charles James Scott Wishart and his mother was Mary Reid Dunse. His paternal grandparents were William Tannock Wishart and Isabella Scott. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, John Duns, Charles James, Charles, George, Agnes Cowe, Isabella Scott and Mary Dunse. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 45 on August 21st, 1951 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. He was buried in August 1951 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.-
