Peter Melville 
Peter was born in 1798 in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland . Peter's father was Charles Melville and his mother was Margaret Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were David Melville and Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ferguson and Grissel Lamount. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Peter, David, Charles, Lilias, Janet, Elspeth, Margaret, Elizabeth, Anne and Jean. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 32 in 1830.-
