Edwin Chancellor 
Edwin was born on October 27th, 1844 in Southstoke, Bath, Somerset, England. Edwin's father was Mark Chancellor and his mother was Lavinia Smith. His paternal grandparents were William Chancellor and Vashti Sperring; his maternal grandparents were John Smith and Margaret James. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John, William, Vashti, Margaret, Sarah Ann, Brunetta (Brunette), Sarah, Louisa, Lavinia and Eleanor (Ellen). He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 in 1910 in Victoria, Australia.-
