James Adams 
James was born on January 27th, 1765 in Ilton, Somerset, England. James' father was William L Adams and his mother was Rachel Pitman. His paternal grandparents were William Adams and Gertrude (Gartred) Adams; his maternal grandparents were Wm Pittman and Elizabeth Tyler. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, John, William, William, Charles, Rebecca and Gertrude. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on October 1st, 1827 in Ilton, Somerset, England.-
