hello,
my name is Gary Hebenthal from Greensburg, Pa. My father, Larry Hebenthal, was born and raised at a farm on Thompson Road in Blairsville, Pa. His parents, Dale and Sarah (Griffith) Hebenthal, owned this farm and were married in Bullskin Twp. Dale Hebenthal is still living but sadly, Sara died in 1991. Other than that, my father has a book he keeps concerning the Hebenthal family tree made from realitives. I can tell you more information if it helps. I've been doing our family tree for the past 5 years. I know very little about my mothers side of the family. All I know is that her maiden name is Rice and a couple of living aunta and uncles. Hello, how are you doing? I just came back from a fire call. I joinedthe Greensburg Fire Department in July, 2007. I'm in the Truck Company2, It's all volunteer but I love it. Me and Cheryl divorced this pastyear. Acually, the divorce finalized on 09/14/2007. My mother andfather divorced in 1991, before Sarah's funeral. Evey, (my mother),remarried on 09/14/2001 to Jeff Bock. Yes, I have pictures from bothsides of my family. I have an old black and white picture of mygrandfather, Dale, in WWII. this picture was taken in Manehiem,Germany in 1946. He was assigned with the Army National Guard inIndania County, Pa unit. Dale wrote all about his military expirenceand my father in Johnstown keeps all of this for safekeeping. Allenhas a child named Braidon Alexander Lape. His birthdate is 05/05/1999.I believe that the last time the Hebenthal family gets together iseither Thanksgiving or Christmas. The family reunions started up againI think 2 or 3 years ago. They're trying to have it every year. If youdidn't already go to one and If you want, I can get you the dates andall the other information for 2008 family reunion.
