She is survived by son, James Albert Soles of Akron, Ohio; seven
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Homer Queer and Vernon
Queer both of Levittown, Pa., and George Queer of Acme, Pa.; and sister,
Bessie Queer Uram of Acme, Pa.

Vernon E. Queer
Vernon E. Queer passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009, in the Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 81.
Born in Buckeye, Pa., he was a resident of Levittown for 56 years.
Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was a 38 year employee of USX Fairless Works.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army.
Vernon enjoyed playing ball and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburg Pirates.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy L. (Stiltenpole) Queer; Two sons, Vernon E. Jr. and Jeffrey L. Queer, both of Levittown; one Brother, George Queer and wife, shirley; and his sister, Bessie Uram, all of Acme, Pa.; his grandchildren Jeffrey L. Queer, Jr., Amy Helsley, Shawn Dutcher and Kirstia Dutcher; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Dillon, Joshua ans Noah; and several nieces and nephews including, sandy Weyna and John Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Frank Queer; his brother, Homer Queer; and Faye Soles.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 11:30 a.m. until the time of his service at 1p.m. Thursday April 16, in Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter St., Bristol. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park.

Homer F. Queer of Levittown passed away Friday, March 27, 2009, at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 78.
Born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mr. Queer had been a resident of Bucks County since the early 1950s.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Queer was employed with U.S. Steel for 30 years until retiring.
He was a "Jack of all Trades" who could do anything with his hands.
He will be fondly remembered for the youthful enthusiasm he had for everything he did and always putting his family first.
Mr. Queer was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Ramona L. Queer, on March 15, 2009.
He was the loving father of Sharon F. McGary and the late, Robert, of Hammondville, Pa., Ronald H. and his wife, Jean, of Harrison, Alaska {misprint- they meant Arkansas), Frank L. of Levittown, Katrina R. Perry and her husband, Paul, of Bensalem, Julie M. Lloyd of Bristol, Faith Mackey of Morrisville, and Shawn D. of Levittown. He was the devoted grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He also will be missed by two brothers, one sister, several nieces and nephews, and his son-in-law, Guy Lloyd of Fairless Hills.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
