Clarence Garner Stairs
Clarence was born on November 28th, 1886 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹   He died from a heart attack at the age of 64 on July 21st, 1951 in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.  He was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.^1 1

    In the summer of 1951, Clarence and Nora escaped the Florida heat and returned to Mt. Pleasant to visit family and friends. On July 21, they spent time at the home of the Frank L. Foreman family in Greensburg and that evening went to see their daughter, Violet Foreman, at White Hill near Youngwood, Westmoreland County. That evening, shortly before midnight, Clarence died suddenly of a heart attack at the Foremans' home. He was buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
    
    

Nora Violet Martz (Stairs)
Nora was born about 1890.¹   She died on May 11th, 1970 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹

    Nora outlived (her husband) Clarence by nearly two decades. She died in Mt. Pleasant on May 11, 1970.
