Louisa was born in 1915.1 Louisa's father was Sidney George Sirett and her mother was Harriett Hannah Powell. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Sirett and Charlotte Bryer; her maternal grandparents were John Powell and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Frank, Walter and Gladys. She is the youngest of the four children.
