Charles was born on February 14th, 1844 in Boynton Street (no 40), Leeds, Yorkshire.1   He died due to a medical problem, cerebral softening and paralysis, at the age of 66 on November 19th, 1910 in Leeds Union Infirmary, Leeds, Yorkshire.2
