Robert was born on April 5th, 1880 in Little River, Yackandandah, Victoria, Australia. Robert's father was Robert James Reid and his mother was Hannah Jane Twist. His paternal grandfather was Robert William Reid and his paternal grandmother is Mary More; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Twist and Hannah Rothwell. He had five brothers and a sister, named William, Hugh, Richard, Arthur , Fred and Marion. He died at the age of 70 on May 27th, 1950 in North Brighton, Victoria, Australia. He was buried in Cremated: Springvale.-
