Dorithy was born on July 22nd, 1916. Dorithy's father was Arthur James Reid and her mother was Frances May Clapham. Her paternal grandparents were Robert James Reid and Hannah Jane Twist; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Clapham and Fanny Sunderland. She had two brothers and a sister, named Leonard, Brian and Marjorie. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 57 on February 2nd, 1974 in Burwood, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.-
