Robert was born on July 8th, 1877. Robert's father is Robert Kelso and his mother was Sarah Bolton. His paternal grandfather is Dr. John Bolton Kelso; his maternal grandparents were Sloan Bolton and Mary Anne McIlwrath. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, James and Annie.
