Hugh Walker Rogers Bolton 
Hugh was born on September 10th, 1850. Hugh's father was Samuel Bolton and his mother is Mary Grey. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Bolton and Martha Boyde. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, John, James, Robert, Henry, Samuel, Child and Matilda. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. Hugh is no longer alive.General Notes
Hugh Walker Rodgers, was born 10 Sept. 1850. He told Sam Henry of Coleraine in 1927 that his great-grandparents were William and Nancy (Hemphill) Bolton. He lived for a time in Homer, Michigan. When Sam Henry, Esq. called upon him at Lismoyle in 1927, Hugh sang old songs and his daughter-in-law served tea, scones, and cake.
