Joyce's father is Roy Lee White and her mother was Madaline (Mattie) Crammer (White).  Her maternal grandparents were  Wiliam H Crammer Jr and  Ella Lane (Crammer).  She is the youngest of three children.  She had two sisters named Judy and Linda.
