His brother ran a farm.
At a reunion, Bill presented his family tree on a big wall for everyone to come and look at. Mary? (Mary Francis?) fell really ill, fell down, she has to be carried away and taken care of. The reason turned out to be that she saw her son's illigitamate child on the tree, which she had gone through great trouble to cover up and hide.
Angelo was a stone cutter in Italy. Comes from a town by Mount Cammarata, which Bob said was very old and behind the times, came to America from Villa Rosa. Bob said he was a very mean person, his first wife left him for a boarder that was staying with them. He abandoned his kids on a train and the conductor had to take them home. He later put them (Michael, Joseph, & Mary Grace) in an orphanage. Later, the children ran businesses and Angelo would come in and take an interest in the business, which would then flounder. They once ran a street vending booth, which Angelo took part in and it went under. They ran a bowling ally also. Later they ran a movie theater. Mary Grace sold tickets and made pop-corn, Joseph ran the business and was an usher. Michael ran the projector. Angelo saw they were making money and came in to get a piece of it and it went under.
He was hit by a street car in downtown Pittsburg and died.
