Col Ambrose Mills
Ambrose was born in 1722 in
Derbyshire, , England.
- Birth Notes
- The area Ambrose settled into was Bladen which became Anson circa 1749, by the 1750s, NC and SC existed, but there was a dispute along the southern border of NC. Parts of NC became SC. The Mills could have been any where in this area. However, I did read of a Mills Creek, a sure sign early Mills settled that creek.
