         Jenet Mathew was born circa 1455 at of Radyr, Glamorganshire, Wales. She married Thomas Stradling, Esq., son of Sir Henry Stradling and Elizabeth Herbert, circa 1474; They had 2 sons (Edward & Harry) and 1 daughter (Jane).2 Jenet Mathew married Sir Rhys ap Thomas, Constable of Cardigan, son of Thomas "Hynaf" ap Gruffudd and Elizabeth Gruffudd, after 28 June 1480.2 Jenet Mathew died on 5 February 1535 at Picton Castle, Picton, Pembrokeshire, England; Buried at Greyfriars, Carmarthen.2
