  •    Sir Piers Edgcombe, Sheriff of Devonshire was born circa 1469 at of Edgcombe, Devonshire, England; Age 20 in 1489.1 He married Johanna Durnford, daughter of James Durnford and Jane Holland, circa 1490; His 1st wife.1 Sir Piers Edgcombe, Sheriff of Devonshire married Catherine St. John, daughter of Sir John St. John, Sheriff of Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire and Sibyl fil Morgan, after 1521.1,2 Sir Piers Edgcombe, Sheriff of Devonshire left a will on 3 March 1530.1 He died on 14 August 1539 at of Edgcombe, Devonshire, England.1 His estate was probated on 15 September 1539.
