She was Charles Martel's first wife. She is thought to have been the daughter of St Lievin, Bishop of Treves and granddaughter of Count Guerin (or Warin), d. 677, brother of St Leger, Bishop of Autun. Her first name may have been spelled "Rothrude", "Clotrude" or "Chrotrud"
