John was born on April 8th, 1588 in Norwich, Norfolk, England and his christening took place in 1637.  He died at the age of 73 on August 19th, 1661 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  He was buried on October 1st, 1661 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
