Elisabeth was born on March 18th, 1796 in Bischwiller, Bas-Rhin, France. Elisabeth's father was <Unknown> and her mother was <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Marie Eva Faulstich; her maternal grandparents were Hans Mechling and Marie Sager. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jakob, Jakob, <Unknown>, Marie, Salomé and Katherine.  She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Johann, Philipp, Marie and Karoline.  She died at the age of 8 on April 28th, 1804 in Bischwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
