David DAVIDSON, a Farmer married to Margaret COCHRANE, died aged 46 years on 20th January 1861 at 5h 5m am at New Mains of Guynd, Carmyllie. His father was recorded as Andrew DAVIDSON, Crofter (deceased) and his mother as Christian DAVIDSON, m.s. PETRIE (deceased). The cause of death was Phthisis Pulmonalis suffered for 18 months, Chro. Laryngitis suffered for 6 mos as certified by David Paton MD. The informant at the death was David's brother-in-law, John COCHRANE, of Backboath, Carmyllie. James Taylor, Registrar, registered the death at Carmyllie on 21st January 1861.
