John Gibson 
John was born on August 26th, 1844 in Barony, Glasgow, Scotland. John's father was John Gibson and his mother was Agnes Douglas Young. His paternal grandparents were Robert James Gibson and Margaret Murdoch; his maternal grandparents were James Young and Georgina Orrack. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Murdoch, George, Agnes and Marion. He was the oldest of the six children. He died due to a medical problem, Chronic bronchitis, Asthma 16 weeks, at the age of 60 on August 28th, 1904 in Eltham, Taranaki, NZ. He was buried on October 12th, 1904 in Eltham, Taranaki, NZ.1 -
