Margaret Despenser

Margaret was born about 1288 in England.¹ Margaret's father was Hugh Le Despenser and her mother was Isabel Beauchamp. Her paternal grandparents were + Hugh (Lord Despenser) Le Despenser and Aliva Bassett; her maternal grandfather was William (9th Earl of Warwick) beauchamp and her maternal grandmother is Maud Fitzjohn. She had two brothers and a sister, named Philip, Hugh (1st Lord Despenser) and Isabel. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Matilda "Maud". She died about 1350.¹
